About Us

The Ozark Cycling Club has been in existence for over 25 years.  Our mission is to develop and promote bike racing and bike racers in the southwest Missouri area.  Our club consists of a variety of cyclists, beginning with junior riders up to experienced racers.  We promote two races a year: the Dogwood Road Race and the Queen City Crit.  The Dogwood course is routed through the Ozark Hills and takes place in the Springtime.  It is a tough, but a beautiful course.  The Queen City crit is held in July.  This is a four corner course, flat, and an excellent crit for first timers.

Ozark Cycling Club has several training rides throughout the year.  The Ozarks area is a great place to ride and train.  If you would like to join us for a ride, please check the message board for details on upcoming rides.  OCC also has a junior development program.  For more information on this program, please contact Ken Norton or visit the Junior Program page.

Over the years, the OCC has had many excellent riders.  Brad Huff, a former member of OCC, is now a professional rider with Jelly Belly Cycling Team.  Brad is currently one of the best track riders and sprinters in the US.  We hope to see him go on to even bigger and better things.

For more information on joining the OCC, please contact Ken Norton or visit the Contact Us page.  Happy riding.
